Winter Cove and Veruna Beach Walk (about 3 km return)
Saturday, November 1st - Rendez-vous at 1 pm
at the Winter Cove parking lot.
Wear good walking shoes and bring water and a snack...
and don't forget your binoculars: birds might be around!
Above: When the tide is moving, the current can be quite dramatic at boat pass, between Saturna and Samuel islands.
The path will take us through the forest. In the fall, the forest floor glows with colourful things, not to mention mushrooms. We will keep a close eye on the beauty at our feet, not just on the horizon. See you Saturday.
